Governing Board Approves Infant-at-Work Policy at Phoenix International Academy

This afternoon, our governing board approved a measure to implement an Infant-at-Work policy at Phoenix International Academy! We think this is an important policy to adopt for the benefit of babies, parents, and the school. Research has shown that Infant-at-Work policies allow working parents to return to work sooner and to be more productive when they return. High quality infant care is extremely difficult and can be prohibitively expensive, often causing employees to need to resign altogether. By implementing this policy, PIA hopes to support the families of our employees as well as ensure that the students at our school have as much time as possible with the high quality educators with whom they already have great relationships.
