We invite students and their families in grades K-5 to the North side of the school for a family dance and celebration! We’ll have music, concessions, and a chance to mingle with other PIA families!
On the South side of the school, we’ll be hosting a Junior High dance for students in grades 6-8. Students attending the JH dance will need to purchase a ticket for $3. We’ll have music, concessions, and glow sticks for every student who purchases a ticket early!
Join us as our 1st graders showcase their latest work in the school garden known as Sonoran Seeds! Their latest project work reflects their exploration and learning of monarch butterflies, milkweed, and migration!
Join us for a movie night at PIA! Bring some blankets, pillows, and/or chairs and enjoy a movie with family and friends! Doors open at 4:30pm and movie will begin by 5:00pm.
Our 8th graders will be selling concessions to benefit their 8th Grade Field Trip to Friendly Pines.

Project title: Plant, Pollination, Photosynthesis
Description: Explore the intricate world of flora at our project exhibit, "Plants, Pollination, Photosynthesis." Students will captivate you with their comprehensive showcase, demonstrating their in-depth knowledge of these vital processes. Additionally, parents will be introduced to Sonoran Seeds, our flourishing organic vegetable food garden, where the fruitful outcomes of their learning come to life.
Students in Ms. Amanda, Ms. Natsuki, and. Ms. Thayna’s project classes will be showcasing the work they’ve done exploring the question “How can we manage and reduce stress through play?”
Students in Mr. Tylar and Ms. Gabby’s project classes will be showcasing the work they’ve done exploring different hydroponic systems and the way they work.

At Phoenix International Academy, we're focused on creating an environment that mirrors real life. One of the ways we do this - is through project-based learning. Students are given authentic, hands-on experiences to demonstrate their learning.
At the conclusion of a project, students prepare to share their learning with our community. We do this in part, to make our products and learning public, but also to practice public speaking, interacting with the community, and exhibiting professionalism.

Join us as students showcase their very first project of the year! Students are exploring the question: How have my stories defined me? Come check out how they answered this question with artistic representations of who they are, along with live performances from our music students, Hip Hop students, and a display of the work our Art and Lego Robotics students have been up to!
