TYLER WOOD, TRANSPORTATION + SKATEBOARDING

I’m Tyler Wood. I professionally teach skateboarding to young athletes. I’ve been teaching skateboarding for 6 years. I’ve coached skateboarding at all levels from beginner, intermediate to advanced. I originally started teaching skateboarding to beginners ages 3-10 back in early 2017 at an indoor facility called Kids That Rip in Mesa, Arizona. I’ve learned the core values of being a skateboard coach from the AZPX Local Professional skateboarder and skateboard coach Rich Zuccarello. I continued my coaching journey over at Kids That Rip, Scottsdale from 2019-2022. As of late 2021 I have been coaching privately over at Phoenix international Academy to grades 3-8 as well as coaching privately 1 on 1 at local skateparks. Skateboarding has been a passion of mine since I turned 12. My mother Joan Wood was a Semi-professional skateboarder for cowtown skateboards in the 1990s. Learning from other professionals and local legends has really paved a way in my career path and has taught me how to better myself, mind, balance, and life. Don’t be scared and shred on - Tyler
