Project Overview

Driving Question:

How can I use my voice to bring awareness to an important issue in our society?

SUMMARY:

In this project students will tell the world about social issues through video, interview, research, and voice over. Students will contact organizations to interview and gather information about the problem through their lenses and the way they are helping people. Students will learn to edit videos in order and how to follow a sequence.

GCS 2.2 Summarizes the perspective of other people, groups, or scholars, which may be different from own.

  1. Video

  2. Essay about their experience and the goal of their video

  1. Questionnaire

  2. Plan (production meeting, storyboard, contacts)

  3. B-roll selection
