Project Overview

Driving Question:

How can a constraint help us become more powerful storytellers?

SUMMARY:

Students will be exposed to and understand how constraints they may encounter in films make the storytelling more powerful. They will explore more than just the comedy genre of films without dialogue and will focus on writing and creating a See-and-Hear Chart for their final product of a film without dialogue.

Standards:

W.4 Produce clear and coherent writing in which the development and organization are appropriate to task, purpose, and audience. 

SL.5 Include multimedia components (e.g., graphics, sound) and visual displays in presentations when appropriate to enhance the development of main ideas or themes.
