Driving Question:

How can we use light and sound to communicate different kinds of feelings without words?

SUMMARY:

Students create performances or multimedia art pieces that communicate or evoke a particular emotion using light and sound.

Minor Products:

  1. Simple journal or blog demonstrating what they are learning about light, sound, and feelings

  2. Lights and sounds individually created by students to evoke specific emotions

Major Products:

  1. Art piece or performance explaining how students’ scientific observations and experiments helped them understand how to use light and sound to evoke different emotions and communicate over a distance
