PIA’s Apiary Featured on ABC News

Word is out and the community is talking about our apiary!

Did you know we have not one, but TWO bee hives on our campus?? It’s true! Ms. Loretta, our first grade teacher, has worked in partnership with The Bee Cause and Whole Kids Foundation to bring this incredible learning opportunity to our garden.. right here at PIA!

It’s truly been a community effort to bring this vision to life - from community members helping to build a bee enclosure to local beekeepers guiding and checking in on the health of our bees and Ms. Loretta’s commitment to including kids in the entire process.. it’s a sight to see!
