At Phoenix International Academy, we believe awareness is one of the foundational pieces of being a global citizen. We believe in the importance of understanding the lives, circumstances, and reality of people and places different from ourselves. We know the value in expanding our knowledge, researching new ideas, and empowering ourselves to connect with people all over the world. At Phoenix International Academy, we want every single member of our community to know and feel like they are meant to be here. We know that deep desire to feel accepted for who you are. We know the power of empathy and the pivotal role it plays in understanding and connecting with people who are different from ourselves. At Phoenix International Academy, we believe boldness plays a pivotal role in innovation. We need to be open to taking risks and trying new, out there, crazy ideas in order to innovate. It takes courage and confidence to do things that haven’t been done before. It takes a certain humility to be willing to try, fail, and then get back up and try again. It takes flexibility and adaptability to thrive in a world that is ever-changing. At PIA, we empower both our staff and our students to live more boldly, speak up, put themselves out there, and feel safe enough in our community to do so.
CURIOSITY
At Phoenix International Academy, we believe curiosity is the foundation of learning. We believe it’s monumentally important to live more curiously. We encourage both our staff and students to ask questions, seek answers, investigate the unknown, explore new possibilities, discover new information, and find multiple solutions to real-world issues that matter to them. Curiosity sparks passion. It sparks freedom. At PIA, we know how important it is to never stop being curious.

At Phoenix International Academy, we believe innovation is the way of the future. We know our world is ever-changing. We understand how important it is use creative thinking, channel our imaginations, and come up with new solutions. We know one thing for certain, that our world is changing. We know that our students need to be prepared for jobs they can’t currently envision. Innovation is at the center of being prepared for the future of work. At PIA, we believe thinking creatively, trying new things, and adapting to changing circumstances are pivotal characteristics of success.
